Raul Coldea is a young Romanian theatre director who mostly works at Reactor de Creație și Experiment, an independent theatre venue in Cluj-Napoca. He directed in the last 4 years socially engaged shows, starting from subjects such as social invisibility, homelessness and on topics related to gender inequality. He also has experience in leading workshops in which he questions the relation between artists, spaces and the audience and workshops in which he investigates how personal narratives are shaped by the political and economical contexts in which we are socialized.
In Serbia, Raul will lead a workshop based on personal stories. We will try to write or own stories and then to perform these stories in front of other people. Because personal is political or, in other words, there are big chances to consolidate the idea of togetherness in our community when we recognize ourselves in the stories of the others.
