Partners

TCFT has been involved with many partners over the 13 years of the work we have developed together. Some have worked with us for only one Erasmus + residency and others for almost all of the projects since Srebrenica in 2008. Each Erasmus + or Youth in Action project had a variety of partners depending on what we wanted to achieve and where. If a community and country were considered a partner then the outstanding and longest lasting relationship has been with Srebrenica in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which although we haven’t visited for a couple of years remains the strongest influence on our work and where we began.  Many young people and their families, restaurant and hotel owners, Bato and Hotel Misrilje, local NGO’s including SARA, Maja Kravica, Leptir and e-Srebrenica, the local media hub and Hariz and Rada with their great restaurant Slatki Zalogaj, Milena Nikolic, Nevena Medic, the original team – Filip, Verica, Maja, Jana, Nemanja, Sandra, King, Mix, Muamer and so many more. There used to be a thriving youth centre, but at the moment this doesn’t exist.

Teater Mimart founded by Dr. Nela Antonovic has been a driving force throughout, filling the residencies with wild imagination and brilliant site specific and political work. Alister O’Loughlin and Miranda Henderson of Prodigal UPG have provided brilliant teaching with Performance Parkour and sound creative structures and disciplines throughout our residencies. Darren Abrahams of The Human Hive has influenced the social and emotional stability of all of our work, developing with us the emotional support needed for such complex work as well as bringing his artistry and humanity to bear on all of us.  Rosie Russell, currently consulting with Arts Development Company and Bridport Rights Respecting Town amongst others, has cared, encouraged, supported, provided skills and emotional resilience for all of us. Rory Newbery who began as a youth participant in a residency in Bridport called Simply Human and became the backbone for the cultural exchange management as a volunteer, with logistical leadership and youth support skills. Robert Golden who throughout the life of Opera Circus has made sure our work has been beautifully documented both on film and photography ensuring a rich archive and history of what has been achieved by so many. The foundation of all of our work is art and the artists and others, who share their knowledge with all of us, too many to list here but our thanks for their embracing TCFT to Laura Fatini, Zangi, Cedoux Kadima, Louise Katerega, Francesco Pipparelli, Susan Bisatt, Nigel Osborne, Ricky Romain, Susan Sloan, Lidjia Antonovic, River, Benji Reid, Shaniqua Benjamin, Thomas Hughes, Fabio Santos and so many more.

There are many more individuals and organisations who have participated over the 13 years of TCFT in all its forms and we would like to thank everyone who contributed so generously.

New partners:

Our first Erasmus + as a neighbouring country, not leading, is P-Art led by Centro Studi Sereno Regis in Torino Italy. With 6 other partners we will be exploring participatory arts in particular through TCFT.
