Billy has performed in, produced, directed and devised numerous shows, commercial, private and public, worldwide. He co-founded Cirque Bijou in 1999.

His work includes, Co Directing the Battle for the Winds, the UK’s largest outdoor performance work celebrating the London 20212 Olympics, including as part of this, a collaboration with Diversity to create Breathe.

In 2013, Billy co founded the UK’s first integrated circus company Extraordinary Bodies with Claire Hodgson of Diverse City. The Company’s first show is called Weighting and is currently touring the UK.

 

Other work includes:

A large-scale outdoor show to celebrate Malta’s 40th anniversary as a republic in 2014.

Bridging the gap – a show to launch Bristol as European Green Capital of Europe, featuring wire walker Jade Kindar Martin.

Two degree shows for the National Centre for Circus Arts in 2007 and 2013.

A new mid scale outdoor touring show Source, commissioned by London’s outdoor arts consortium in 2014.

A small scale circus and street theatre project working with local communities in Bristol called Kitchen Circus in 2014.

Billy has also collaborated with Theatre maker Gallivant to make a circus theatre version of Macbeth at the Egg, Theatre Royal Bath, and is currently working on a new collaboration with Gallivant, called Dead.

He has also created many private commissions for launches of large scale property developments, city centre celebrations, and festivals, including rock and roll world tours for Take That and Muse.
